          Stratford-upon-Avon - a market town on the River Avon near Birmingham, a popular tourist destination, the birthplace and gravesite of William Shakespeare, the Royal Shakespeare Company resides there
          Stonehenge - a prehistoric monument consisting of a ring of standing stones, constructed from 3000BC, a British cultural icon and a UNESCO World Heritage Site
          Loch Ness - a large, deep, freshwater lake in the Scottish Highlands, most famous for the monster Nessie, Urquhart Castle is a ruin beside the lake
          Liverpool - a city in Merseyside and a port, expanded in the Industrial Revolution, associated with the arts, the Beatles formed there in 1960
          Edinburgh - the capital city of Scotland, the seat of the Scottish Government and Parliament, the Palace of Holyroodhouse is the official residence of the monarch in Scotland, opposite the Edinburgh Castle which is a historic fortress on Castle Rock
          Cambridge - a university city on river Cam, the University of Cambridge was founded in 1209, the most recognicable building is King's College
          Oxford - a university city, the University of Oxford was founded in 1096 and is the oldest university in the English-speaking world, the most recognizeable buildings are the Radcliffe Camera library
          Belfast - the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, located on River Lagan and a major port, produced many ships including the Titanic, became infamously known for the Troubles in the 1970s and 1980s
          Cardiff - the capital and largest city of Wales, the seat of the National Assembly of Wales and a significant tourist centre, Cardiff Castle is a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion
Hadrian's Wall
          Windsor Castle - a royal residence, located in the historic town of Windsor with the ancient twin town Eton across the river, the original castle is from the 11th century built to protect a strategically important part of the River Thames, it was used as a refuge from the Luftwaffe campaigns
